Poor coaching can have adverse effects on the behavior, attitudes and motivation of young people. Some coaches and instructors are aggressive, abusive and argumentative. A coach who possesses these qualities instills them in players who express them in their behaviors (France, 2008, p.86).
They become rude and aggressive because when treated with aggression or rudeness by their coach, they respond in a similar manner.
